EFQM EXCELLENCE MODEL

The Recognition of Excellence in Management is based on the application of the EFQM Model of Excellence. This scheme is aimed at companies who are really concerned about improving their management, and who wish to embark on the journey towards Excellence with the idea that it is a long term proposition.

It is especially appropriate for those organisations that already have a quality management system certified to the UNE EN ISO 9001 standard.

There are several different types of mark:

    

COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE
Through this process of recognition, the organisation identifies its level of management and moves towards continual improvement through improvement actions.

This mark is awarded when the result of the Self-Assessment relating to the EFQM Model of Excellence is certified in 200 EFQM points or more. For this level, certification is not mandatory if the organisation has a current ISO 9001.2000 certificate.
    
  

EUROPEAN EXCELLENCE 300+ / RECOGNISED FOR EXCELLENCE 3 STARS
Through this process of recognition, the organisation identifies its level of management and elaborates a descriptive Report of the management activities and results obtained.

This mark is awarded when the result of the Self-Assessment relating to the EFQM Model of Excellence is certified by a licensee in 300 EFQM points or more.
    
  

EUROPEAN EXCELLENCE 400+ / RECOGNISED FOR EXCELLENCE 4 STARS
The process is identical to the one corresponding to the level of European Excellence 300+.

This mark is awarded when the result of the Self-Assessment relating to the EFQM Model of Excellence is certified by a licensee in 400 EFQM points or more.
    
  

CEG - EUROPEAN EXCELLENCE 500+ / RECOGNISED FOR EXCELLENCE 5 STARS
The process is identical to the one corresponding to the level of European Excellence 300+ and 400+ with the exception of the format of the Report.

This mark is awarded when the result of the Self-Assessment relating to the EFQM Model of Excellence is certified by a licensee in 500 EFQM points or more.
