The Spanish Association of Normalization and Certification (AENOR) is a private, independent and non-profit-making association. AENOR has its head officce in the street Genova 6, 28004 Madrid.
The electronic commerce has gone spreading in a significant way in the world of the trade. Nevertheless, still many obstacles exist for a major development of this important way. The objective of AENOR's initiative is the creation of a service of certification that reinforces the level of existing confidence between buyer and seller. By means of the grant of a qualit brand, the system will increase simultaneously the acceptance and confidence of the consumer, will stimulate the European presence and Spanish speakers in the web and will accelerate the development of an electronic market of confidence.
This initiative constitutes a strategic tool of help to an emergent market, on having approached directly a series of problems that affect both the companies and the consumers at the moment of trading in Internet.
